- UK commercial refrigeration manufacturer Foster Refrigerator has launched a range of Prep Tables ideal for preparing salads, sandwiches and starters.
The very competitively priced Prep Table range combines an invaluable prep area with refrigerated under counter storage. The range offers easy access to pans in the worktop meaning caterers can now easily and conveniently prepare items such as starters and pizzas, and its size and affordable price make it ideal for smaller kitchens and budgets. The range is available in single and double door models, which accommodate 3 and 5 ⅓ Gastronorm pans in the worktop, and has been designed ergonomically with the operator in mind. All pans and the work bench height are within comfortable reach – an important health and safety benefit in the work place. Foster has designed the range with Automatic Defrost to ensure trouble free operation, and both models are front breathing, making them suitable for enclosed areas. Like all Foster equipment, the new Prep Table range is built to last, easy to clean and hygienic, enabling caterers to comply with all the latest HACCP food safety and environmental legislation. The new range features a unique airflow that delivers an even temperature to both the counter base and top pan storage section to meet strict HACCP temperature requirements.
